Case Studies Internet clients tend not to want their specific problems identified on a consultant’s website, so to give you an idea of results gained, here’s some non-identified examples.



Split testing and optimization

This smart marketing team had a lot of traffic arriving at two of their websites (worth approx $2M/month), and wanted to outsource their split testing management so they could focus on growing other aspects of the business.  We designed tests using knowledge of copywriting and design of experiments optimization methods and managed all the optimization.  We also managed adding some innovative marketing techniques which dramatically added to the value of every visitor.  The split testing was run extremely well, with virtually no downtime, critical for this value of traffic.

Funding

A long term client was developing a new business model, one which is targeted to become a billion dollar company.  2 years of research and development has gone into the project, but funds had started to run low.  We were engaged to help find ways to fund the development of the project.   While all other funding opportunities slowly ran out, we identified an overlooked opportunity, leveraging assets that had previously been built but had dramatically increased in value.  It is anticipated that this will bring in profits of $10,000,000 for around 4-6 months of project work, dwarfing all other revenue generation attempts.

This client had worked across a variety of internet driven direct response business models.  They needed someone to brainstorm and discuss new ideas with on a regular basis.  This client now has a $15M direct response business. 

Traffic Network

A CPA traffic networks was having trouble identifying why its growth was slowing compared to many competitors.  We spent a couple of months working with the company, providing a fresh perspective, to understand what the cause was.  In this case we identified a couple of key areas.  These have been rectified, helping the business move forward successfully. 

Offer development

A company had an extremely successful ebook in a niche market, and wanted to bring its product to mass distribution, and learn how they could manage this distribution in future by themselves.  Normally this channel is run by brokers who are very protective of their methods and information.  We figured out how this traffic avenue worked and trained the business owners on this part of the businesses, as well as establishing several critical relationships.  The end result was around $700,000 in front end sales in the first year, backend profits significantly higher.  We also gave this client the topic for one of their later ebooks which has been extremely successful.
